Buyer Protection

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1.1. Our Commitment

At Lotify, operated by Prixio LLC (Identification Code: 405842842), we are committed to providing a safe and secure marketplace. Our Buyer Protection program is designed to give you confidence when bidding on and purchasing items.

2.2. Escrow System

Every transaction on Lotify is protected by our escrow system:

The amount held is exactly what you paid: the winning bid plus any delivery charge for the method you chose. If your money is returned in full, the delivery charge comes back with it.

How it works:

  1. When you win an auction and pay, your funds are held securely in escrow, not sent directly to the seller
  2. The seller dispatches the item and records the tracking information, or hands it over in person if you chose to collect it yourself
  3. Once the seller marks the item as delivered, you have 7 days to inspect it and confirm receipt
  4. Funds go to the seller when you confirm receipt, or automatically when the holding period ends. That period is 7 days from the date the item is marked delivered, 14 days from payment if you are collecting in person, 21 days from dispatch if delivery is never marked, and 30 days from payment if the seller never records a dispatch

This means the seller is not paid straight away. If the item does not arrive, or does not match the listing, report the problem before the funds are released and the payout is stopped while we review the case. If you take no action, the funds go to the seller when the holding period ends, so do not let that deadline pass.

3.3. Seller Verification Program

Every seller must complete identity verification before they can list an item:

  • Verified sellers display a verification badge on their profile and listings
  • Verification requires government-issued ID, selfie verification, and contact information
  • Verification raises a seller's trust score, and the trust score is what sets how many auctions and photos they may post
  • Note: verification confirms who the seller is, not the quality of what they are selling, so always check the seller's ratings and reviews as well.

4.4. 7-Day Confirmation Window

After your item is marked as delivered, you have 7 days to:

  • Inspect the item thoroughly
  • Compare it to the listing description and photos
  • Test functionality if applicable
  • Confirm receipt if satisfied
  • Open a dispute if there's an issue

Important: If you do not confirm receipt or report a problem within those 7 days, the funds are automatically released to the seller. If the item is never marked as delivered, a longer backstop deadline applies instead: 14 days from payment where you collect in person, 21 days from dispatch, or 30 days from payment where no dispatch is recorded.

5.5. Dispute Resolution Process

If you have an issue with your purchase:

  1. Press Report Problem on the purchase in My Purchases, at any point before the funds are released
  2. Choose the reason that fits and describe the problem in detail
  3. The seller has 48 hours to respond
  4. If you and the seller do not reach an agreement, Lotify administrators review the case
  5. We aim to reach a decision within 5 business days, though this is a target rather than a guaranteed deadline

Either party may appeal the decision within 7 days

6.6. What's Covered

Buyer Protection covers:

  • Items not received
  • Items significantly not as described
  • Items damaged during shipping (with evidence)
  • Counterfeit items sold as genuine
  • Missing accessories or parts that were included in the listing

7.7. What's Not Covered

Buyer Protection does not cover:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse after winning an auction
  • Minor differences that don't materially affect value or function
  • Issues reported after you've confirmed receipt
  • Problems reported after the funds have been released to the seller
  • Prohibited items (weapons, drugs, etc.): these violate our Terms of Service

8.8. Auto-Release Mechanism

Funds are automatically released to the seller:

  • 7 days after the item is marked as delivered, if no problem has been reported. If delivery is never marked, a backstop applies instead: 14 days after payment where you collect in person, 21 days after dispatch, or 30 days after payment where no dispatch is recorded
  • The release date is shown on the purchase in My Purchases. To stop the release, report a problem before that date. Confirming receipt does the opposite: it releases the funds to the seller immediately

9.9. How to Report Issues

If you encounter a problem:

  • For transaction issues: Use the dispute system in 'My Purchases'
  • For suspected fraud: Report the user through their profile
  • For urgent matters: Contact us directly at contact@lotify.ge
  • Phone support: +995 550 05 01 88
